    I’m really loving your blog Lilith! I’m a Toronto girl myself, that has found herself co-director and travel team skater of a superfantastic Derby league in Brighton, UK (brightonrockers.com). I’m a long-standing amateur sports coach and former RMT, and discovering Derby 2 years ago, yet this late in life (just turned 40! YIKES) has been a fantastic and eye opening journey. Helping my teammates through training and rehab/injury prevention, I have often sent them links to your site with the simple instructions: READ THIS!

      Thanks so much! There’s so much great derby happening on your side of the pond – It’s great to hear that there are coaches like yourself focusing on derby longevity and injury prevention. I figure it’s just about learning all you can, trying to make sense of it, and bringing it back to your girls.
